Still got 3 games to go but...

Had my best season with the bat by more than double my next best, partly down to opening the batting meaning if I was batting well I got the  but bowled like an absolute drain, my excuse is I'm often knackered after batting for too long!

For 2nds where I've played the majority of games this season - 12 innings, 2 not outs, 394 runs @ 39.40, 3 50's, 1 century including my best of 109.

Overall (including a couple of evening games and 1st team) - 17 innings, 4 not outs, 434 runs @ 33.38.

Also been make shift keeper for most of the season and have taken 12 catches which I'm pretty happy about.

Been an up and down season really, took some time to settle into my new team and was moved around the order due to a couple of poor scores, for a couple of weeks i didn't even get a knock much to my frustration.

Mid season after a weeks break was the most productive with scores of 57, 109, 91 and 51 (maybe I should go on holiday more often!).

For the last 3 weeks I've been drafted into the 1st team and have not had the same opportunity which has put a bit of a downer on the end of my season as felt in decent touch with the bat.

Still one game to go, ideally would like to make it over 500 runs total as I class that as a decent season but forecast for Saturday doesn't look favourable to do this.

Terrible season with the bat for me, only been playing midweek T20 this year but haven't even kept up with my batting stats it's been that bad, finished leading bowler at the club by a good distance though mainly due to a 3for3 and a 4for2. Club had a good season winning our division to push us up into the same division as @liscon12 aka The Next Victim of My Pie Chucking haha  :D

Not a great season with the bat. Moved clubs half way through the year due to moving.

Ended up scoring 400 runs in 18 innings. Before I moved clubs I was batting either 1 or 3. Moved clubs and I am batting 9 or 10. Big change to the system.

Decent season with the ball. I managed to get a season high in regards to wickets with the ball. I am generally a part time offie. This season I ended up with figures of 159.8 - 30 - 560 - 35.

Best bowling of 6-67 & 6-62. This season I had a few 18 over spells which has been a first. Normally I bowl 5 or 6 to break a partnership.

Looking forward to trying and better those figures for next season

I've only played 10 games this year due to two young children and wife working on Saturday during term times.  1 friendly and the rest league. mixture of 1sts and 2nds.  Up and down season as you can imagine when you play so few games and don't practice anymore:

Batting: 8 innings 170 at 24. This was only really two innings of 86no and 55 (both league games)
Bowling: 83.2 overs. 26 wks at 11.  Got my first league 5fer for over 6 years in the 2nds and followed that up with one in the last league game for the 1sts on Saturday.

Overall, happy with my contribution when I've played. Would have like more runs but very happy with the bowling stats.

Really miss playing every Saturday !

Runs - next to none
Average - 10.something
Highest score - 23  :(

Wickets - not enough
Runs conceded - loads
Average - something just under 30 (I wish that was with the bat!)

Only my second competitive season at the age of 21 at not a great standard so the numbers may not be great in comparison to others.

Batting
10 innings - 1 Not out - Runs 130 - High Score 52 (off 33 balls) - Average 14.4

Batted almost everywhere from 1-9. As I said my standard isn't great and I initially started just for fun but I'm starting to take it more seriously, so next season cricket will take priority over watching my football team meaning I can play more games and stay in some sort of rhythm and will hopefully score more runs and cement a batting position! I think these first two seasons have been more learning about competitive cricket and should stand me in good stead for next season.

One game left, but here we go:

27 knocks, 487 runs at 21.17 with five 50s, highest score 65. Disappointing return with the bat but sadly didn't get a chance to play many long innings this season, lots of coming in at the end of innings. Track being relaid too so hopefully that will improve things (noone has ever scored a league ton at our ground, put it that way).

121.1 overs, 38 wickets at 11.92, best figures of 4-22 (twice). Decent year with the ball but could have been better, bowled at least 50 overs less than the other 4 bowlers from my club who got over 30 wickets.

Practice well over the winter and onwards and upwards next year I hope!

I started the season fairly well,, but broke 3 bats this year which has totally done my head in.
Also didn't get my eyes checked this year due to my specialist retiring and struggling to find a replacement who's qualified,(I have a rare eye condition)
Also just been referred to a specialist as I've no pincer strength in my left hand.
Bat with my bottom hand anyway!

So that's all the excuses out the way!ha

Scored 400 league an cup runs at an avg of 33 which as I've opened all season and have faced some dire bowling is a little disappointing
Sundays have been ok. Even managed to bowl a few overs of googly filth

460 league runs in 15 innings. No N.O.'s though so average is a bit below par.
40 runs short of my minimum target but batted at 4 rather than 3 so a bit more pressure to score more quickly (often not in until around 20 overs to go).
Took 7 league wickets which for a 'net bowler' I'm quite happy with.
More effort needed next season.

Here are my stats:-

Batting -
Saturday 187 runs  @ 17 - better than last season (which was terrible from a stats perspective) but not as good as 2013 when I got nearly 400 runs at 30
Sunday 284 runs @ 47.3 - main difference from Saturday was batting higher up and a weaker standard, carried my bat 3 times in 10 knocks on tricky tracks.

Bowling -
Saturday 25 wickets @ 13.4, E/R 2.6 - happy with that. At times I deserved a bit more luck but with my S/R coming down it's heading in the right direction.
Sunday 17 wickets @ 10.4, E/R 2.6 - same as above, bit unlucky at times.

All in all, 471 runs @ 27.1 is a decent return with 3 fifties. Took 42 wickets @ 12.2, an E/R of 2.6 and S/R OF 28.6 - not bad for a spinner. Including other games I took 46 wickets, can't remember what I did in t20 but had I played a few more midweeks then I would of been close to my 2013 tally of 53 wickets.

2016 targets - struggled with a hamstring injury so getting fitter and stretching more is a key requirement. Want to work a little more on getting revs on the ball. Batting needs some work, more practise than technical - I need to be hitting alot of balls this winter rather than using my first 10 overs in a game to net and move my feet.

First 10 overs!!!!!!  My God - in that time I've been in, had a look at a couple, smashed a few runs, got out, given a past-mortem of my innings to the rest of the team and had a cup of tea!!!
