I like the ole pads, the hint of red and blue look good, although no leather instep anymore. prefer the old sausage style glove of this year to next years but love the palms so they'll be in the bag!!.

Am I the only one who thinks the Mana is absolutely stunning?

Why is everything Concaved?

Thought the world had rebelled and asked for fuller profiles?

We were at the launch this afternoon and the range looks good...even better in the flesh than in the catalogue.

Personal favourites so far are the Paragon and the revised Six6 bats.

Off to meet up with Edward, Richard and team GM shortly for dinner and then another look at the range tomorrow morning!

Not my bag, looks as if the design was based on an 80s night club.

Same happened last time when GM released the new range/stickers and then after early criticism people loved it. I would say don't judge it before you see it in flesh. Personally Mana looks interesting and over all the range is good looking. Keen to see the new duffle, am I correct in saying that its a first duffle from GM with full length bat pocket (even though its external), like the compartmentalized design.

Big fan of the new Maxi bat - the colour scheme on the mana is really nice but the profile does nothing for me

But really, maxi batting pads, just begging to be called Maxi Pads...

Is the Paragon just an Icon with a different name?  Has the toe on the Six6 been slimmed down?

I may be in the minority here but I love pretty much everything GM do, they always strike a good balance between progression and tradition. Who cares if the maxi used to be green and yellow, a lot of people who'll be buying bats this year might never have heard of the original one, and the difference in current bat shapes from 90s/early 2000s has evolved a lot, so why can't they evolve the colours?

GM have always steered the ship in their own direction, not really falling for gimmicks and trends. The bats may not be 'bang on trend', have a duckbill profile, short blade long handle with 60mm edges and a square toe but they sure know how to make top quality, well performing UK-made gear. I can't remember one dud out of all the GM bats I've seen over the years, and that pretty much says it all.

The constant negativity that happens every year they release new gear makes me laugh, yet people always seem to come round in the end!

Last year GM was Romida's number 1 selling brand.
Every year people come on here and say oh I don't like that and then when they see the equipment in the flesh they drool over it.

well done GM, the kit looks fantastic - I really like the new Maxi profile too.

Now I still really need a pair of pro gm pads...!

I've just had a look at a picture on twitter of the actual bats and they look much better than in the catalogue. I've never been a big GM buyer but like the look of the new range. Like buzz says I think it will look alot better in the flesh

The 808 range is in my price bracket and I must admit it looks good. The shoes have improved in my opinion. Profile wise I like the Mana.
