There is a reason why our plums hang outside our bodies, and that is to vent heat and keep them cool.

My suggestions are:

A little draw-string bag full of crushed ice tied around your plums, and left hanging out of the whites

Frequent use of ice-pops (and I don't mean orally)

Plat ice cubes into Moeen's beard at the start of each session and allow other players to suck on them when passing

have you got any tips for the England boys to keep cool out there Cat?

Saw Bairstow the other day with both elbows in ice buckets.

You would think an extra cold Guiness would go down well about 4pm
 :o

But I thought it was easy on the subcontinent!! What's the need to cool down.

Just shows players like sangakarra don't get enough credit for runs scored at home, batting 4 hours + and then keeping wicket.

Sangakara is about as good as it gets batting wise, don't buy the 'runs on flat tracks' scenario-he has shown his class all round the world, and he has got to be super fit.....
As for the conditions, this is def a hard tour for the England team, quite a few a saying on BBC this is far harder than the Ashes....

Pakistan hav'nt lost a series in the UAE I don't think, and we are not used to this unrelenting heat. Same when we go to India and India/sri lanka come here.

Harder for the bowlers when the umpires don't even bother watching for them though.

Nice to see Rashid learning from the ODI's that full tosses and short balls are punished everytime at this level

Doubt it, in their mind I think they'd always considered Rashid.
