My batting average

It's become increasingly apparent that at the amateur level, you can tell far more watching people and having the right player in the right role than judging by stats.. Means my avg is now irrelevant as it's more how you contribute to the team

I like that, I think that's something I should abide by.

My first and only 50 to date came last season exclusively in boundaries! 52 off 33 balls, 13 4's 20 dots!

I have scored 50+ in each of the 8 months. March to October.

I have had a 50 partnership with two different players where their contribution was 0 runs.

I've hit approximately 15 hundreds and never been out in the 70's, 80's or 90's.

Yes!!

I never hear this opinion, my average is 15, but in a 3rd/4th XI where every other player has no defence, scores at 100+ SR but only one or two players a game will actually come off and bat 10 overs, I'm the guy that scores 30 in 40 overs and means we bat the length. Every game I bat 35 overs, we win, but I average 15, top score last season was 35. And the fact is I'm not choosing not to score 50s/100s, I can't. But I still did walk away from last season relatively satisfied that I'd made about as big a contribution to the team as all the guys who left with good stats.

I've also been on a hat trick 3 times, and bowled 3 no balls!

I have taken a wicket at a higher standard bowling left arm spin than anything right arm and I have always been a right arm bowler.
