@FattusCattus => You do have an unrivaled collection of bats ...  :D.

Question regarding B3 2 strip bat. Is that your complete custom design or a specific model number as listed in B3 chart ? For 2lb8oz bat does have pretty chunky edges. Edge size 35mm or more ?

@sanredrose the number on the handle is 2842 - you'd have to ask @procricket B3 or Streaky what that number is.

Having seen the B3 in the flesh, I can confirm it's a meaty hunk of tree that only a meaty hunk of a proper batsman could put to good use  ;)

After spending 5 hrs down at Matts Kent workshop, tapping up,stunning bat after stunning bat,, I'm going hell for leather next season.
I don't know how he gets such consistent performance from all his bat grades, but I'm a huge fan now and can't wait for the season to start

Pro pads and gloves as well as 3x bats being finished off by Matt should see me through next season.

And an Uzi duffle from Asad to keep the bats safe from overcrowded changing rooms

Blew my mind down at matts place!
Must have picked up over a hundred bats and tapped em up, all stunning middles on em

The three I've got are almost as good as the ones Simon picked out.
No warbird I'm afraid, I couldn't spring to the ridiculous pro one he has in the showroom,(hopefully no one pops down and buys it,before end of January when I'm back down there).

Of all the bats Simon May has, his new h4l ones are probably his match bats for next year, that's how good they are!

The pick up on those warbirds is soooo good
Bet you can't wait to use it

One thing I'm not looking to about winter nets is bowling at you when you've got one of those H4L bats in your hands

I will be going into 2016 with the same kit for the 3rd season running (those of you from way back may remember i used to have maybe 2 changes of kit in the off season!). Only potentials are a new bat, I will keep mine going into its 4th season, but realistically I need to be looking for a replacement to bed in, I will use it until its dead though! Also, I need to look into some new spikes, mine are a few seasons old and I had a heel injury last season.

So mine,

Bat: Red Ink (think its the top one)
Gloves: GN A61 1000 LE, GN E41 Test
Pads: GN E41 test
Helmet: Club embroidered Masuri Titanium (single top bar)
Thighs: P2 strippers
Shoes: Asics Gel Strike rates

My kit for this season:

Bag: Gray-Nicolls Supernova Duffle
Bats: 2 x GN XXX VIII(the one on the left is my match bat, the Hand Crafted top grade, the 2nd is my training bat 1000 LE. Both absolute crackers!)
Gloves: 3 × GN XXX VII (These are from the 2013/14 season. I prefer these over the newer ones, I wear inners so all are in good nick and the leather palms still very soft and supple.)
Pads: GN Legend Gold
Thigh Pads: Shamrock (Bought from this forum!)
Helmet: Shrey Master Class Air
Footwear: Asics Gel Advance 5 (These are brand new, bit of a pre-Xmas gift for myself!), and I also have a pair of Puma rubbers for training only, as we only have hard wicket training nets.
Accessories: I have a bit of a bat care section in the black shoe bag which contains extra grips, linseed oil, fibreglass tape, shoe goo, etc, etc. Also in the mesh bag near the gloves are pairs of inners.
