Can't beat the $10 I paid for the Impala VA900 gloves I got. Very nice gloves.

Focus Cricket gloves are very comfortable and light. Good designs and minimalist in colour.

Just had some GN Prestige gloves arrive - already supple and flexible. Would recommend them already!

Agreed. The soft fill & the leather on them gives one of the most comfy & snug feel.
Best part - the palms are complete leather & no mesh (very traditional in that sense again) so highly likely to last a lot more.

Hello everyone. Just wanted to know if this is the maximum a sausage shaped gloves can break-in

Second net with legends on Sunday slight rap on the bottom hand thumb (RH) drew claret. My last pair were GM purist? from Fat Ashleys and felt just as robust.

No doubt GN Prestige is one of the most supple sausage finger gloves right out of the package but honestly I am not that confident about the protection offered except on the first two fingers on the bottom hand. The padding of the thumb also seem a bit out of place (compared to the other gloves I have).

i'd second that; very comfortable but its isn't for everyone. esp with the 1 piece thumb + lack of ventilation.

Been hovering over the 'buy' button for a pair of H4L Pro gloves for the past hour or so. Anyone have any opinions?

I've tweeted Matt in the hope that at the back of his workshop somewhere he has a pair of NV Pro ones because as much as they're out of stock online, £32.50 is an absolute steal! Think I'm going to be massively dissapointed though - hence me thinking about the Pro ones. @Vitas Cricket have them on at £60 at the min.

They are very nice gloves nearly bought some myself, until I was offered last years NV pro ones on here, these are great gloves, I also bought the NV Classics, which are also very good, but I feel the thumb just does not feel perfect on these..

I found the NV classics to fit quite small (and i have tiny hands!) so were gifted to my dad. B&s assegai gloves are lovely, probably the comfiest gloves ive owned.

I have a pair of NV pro and 2 pairs of NV classics

The classics fit smaller (more like some brands small men's) so they're perfect for me. The Pro's are larger fitting and more supple out the packet, but both are great pairs of gloves (and I personally prefer the classics)

That means I fall into the "strange creature" category, and it does limit my choices somewhat  :-[

My favourite gloves from the 2016 season are the GN prestige, they tick all the boxes for me:
Sausage fingers (why don't more "big brands" offer these?) 
Sheep leather palms (lovely soft & supple leather at that)
"Test level" protection (if they're good enough for Alistair Cook & Jonny Bairstow, they're good enough for me)
Classic white look, no over the top colours which is a bonus
To my mind they also offer excellent value for money at £40 a pair (I can remember when I started playing you could get top of the range gloves for £25 though, what happened to those days...)

you'll get nothing decent for £20 nowadays, triple or quadrouple that. unfortunately. the market has grown so much and so much choice but prices are almost of bats when i started playing. but certain aspects have improved a lot, i wish more gloves did the finger protection change that gm did a while back.
