Not sure where you guys got "try out/trials from" on Saturday. It was a net and I merely said it would be a chance to see people playing I hadn't seen before that were playing in the game.


People seem to be taking cricket far to seriously again. Relax and have fun.

Chris, the quotation marks were supposed to show that this was meant as a joke and more about me self-deprecatingly putting pressure on myself to demonstrate my own (in)ability with the bat than about you assessing us!

No offence meant or intended and sorry if it came across as mean or anything.

Thanks once again for organising this and all the effort you put in. Having it wasted must be galling.
