Retro Designs
« on: November 18, 2015, 05:09:59 PM »

During the quiet times of the fire (no machine to make bats) I had a look at putting a B3 twists on some classic retro designs;

Retro 1

Retro 2

What do you think?

Not everyone’s cup of tea I am sure but thought I would share them on here, for the old'ens on here to reminisce and for the young’ens to have a history lesson of bats from the 80’s – or was it the 70’s…..

Look forward to your comments….

Can't see the profile view but the jumbo looks like the splice cut out could be taken down a bit further and the toe a bit thinner with no spine.

No words for the SP, looks like Dave has been let loose on the CAD!

I'm not really a huge fan of either update really, but then wasn't that big a fan of either original! I'd be keen to see what you did with the old Magnum shape!

Jumbo looks like this:-

Magnum more like  this:-

The "dent" in the spine on the DF is below the splice.

Nick please read the thread i have seen these bats for a few month it mentions B3 "Twists"

I also know what a jumbo and a magnum after all i did grow up with my favourite player using one

I know it a jumbo pal i tried to say i was gonna get a magnum done as in "looking into it"

I saw the jumbo type bat for the last 2 months with the jumbo a actual jumbo next to it

 :D

PS I have owned a few magnums pal!!!!

Talk about wrong end of the stick pal!!!

I wasn't and I did read the thread where it said a few twists. I thought a few pics wouldn't hurt for the less informed.

We don't want a hobbit fight

So calm down or I'll put you both on coat hooks for a time out

I'd put them both on the naughty step if either of them could actually climb on to it!!

They look nice, but they need finishing properly!
Will B3 be designing some "retro style" stickers to dress them in??
