Best duffle 2015/16
« Reply #30 on: December 13, 2015, 01:14:01 PM »

There seems to be a duffle for everyone at the moment.  I guess if we categorise them then we have the following favourites at the moment.

Big duffle for the ultimate kit owner:
- Gray Nicolls Supernova
- Kookaburra KD5000
- GM Original Duffle

One Step Down
- New Balance
- GN 1000
- Newbery

Other Options:
- Ton
- Omega XRD

Popped into Uzi Sports today for a look at duffles

Ended up with Asads own Uzi Pro duffle rather than the gn supernova
To be honest, it just looked better made and I preferred the overall look of the Uzi duffle

It's swallowed all my kit with ease

Sounds like a full on review is required to me 😋

Come on Mark do a review as I want to see where we need to improve on next version

Just put my two yr old to bed, little so and so hasn't stopped filling and un filling the bag!!!

Not really reviewed owt before, the fact I've spent my hard earned northern tight git money on it should speak volumes tho.

First thing for me was the looks, a lot classier? Than other offerings, ,love the colour/fabric used, like a cordura type material, which seems a lot harder wearing than say the gn duffle
The bag stands up with nothing in it,,,nice touch
Two way zips ease opening and closing,, nice touch
Padded bat compartment inside for two bats
Loads of room for pads and clothing inside, including two big old fashioned jumpers as I'm now officially a southern softie
Valuable pocket inside, very nice touch
Large outside compartment fits my gloves and box in easy. Love that, no more rooting round in the bottom of a bag
Bottom outer compartment for boots, again, nice touch.

Loads of room left inside, which I'm sure you could fit thigh pads, keeping gear etc, helmet, easily.
The carrying straps feature release buckles/clasps, and are nicely padded

All in all, love it, didn't realise how much, my old kook bag wound me up with its crap design etc
Looking forward to using the duffle and hopefully the little bit of room it should free up in the changing rooms, and no more bats getting spiked.
Hopefully once my teammates have a look, a few more will find there way to Oxfordshire changing rooms

As always, a pleasure to shop at Uzi
