My new blank bats
« on: November 23, 2015, 04:42:03 PM »

Afternoon chaps,

So I messaged Blank Bats about looking at a new bat, and took a couple of weeks but they found me something and its lovely.
I was looking for a heavier bat, and this is 2-13 all dressed up, its a tendulkar profile with a nice low middle, its got 10 even grains with a minor blemish near the toe.
The performance based on knocking a ball up in the office earlier is superb, gonna spend a bit of time knocking it in before getting on the bowling machine with it.
Pick up is good for a heavier bat as well
Overall very pleased with this purchase!

Edges are plenty big enough, hopefully won't use them though

Am I the only one thinking the stickers would look better if they were cut down to just the coloured bit?

Might look strange under the clear bit after some oil

I'm sure that's never been the case before

Either that or I'm really bad at spotting things

Looks a stunner @tommo256. You won't use the edges haha edge or middle with your batting buddy but I know when you get hold of it with that lump of willow it will go a bloody long way.

Always been a massive fan of Blank Bats but what's up with that sticker?? Always thought it just covered the spliced section. Agree as well that the colour scheme is amazing on that bat.

Blank bats just messaged me saying, its to do with if theyve had a sharp spine they've tended to lift so this was a way of resolving it

I agree on your comment.

@tommo256 - Looks really good and intimidating. Good luck and hope you really scare some bowlers.

I was messing about with yesterday in my mates warehouse, I lent on one to push it back down the warehouse and it flew away, I was trying no ariel shots as didn't want to deny the warehouse. Same can't be said for how I'll test it out @vitascricket on Saturday
