@Cover_Drive

The atmosphere at Edgbaston and the Oval is 10 x better than Lords - if you can only make one test match make it either the Oval or Edgbaston for sure.

Wish we had a bigger cricket stadium in this country, high prices are just a result of over demand for tickets. No motivation for the MCC to drop prices when it's sold out every year. Get a drop in pitch at the Olympic stadium and see if we can get 80,000 in for an Ashes test, that'd be something.

I have a cousin's wedding in August (in Scotland) so for me Edgbaston works a lot better than Lord's but I personally wanted to watch a test match at Lord's solely because it's "Home of Cricket."

I am really confused..

If you haven't been I'd suggest a visit purely on it being Lords! I've seen an Ashes test at Durham and an ODI at Edgbaston, both were a better day out imo

I've applied (4th year running) purely because it's still the only test ground I haven't seen a test match at. I've been to Lords a few times for tours, tournaments etc but never actually seen England play there!
