Branding is so poor.

Just seen the sides for scorchers game. Carberry misses out again. Shaun marsh dropped from the test seems to have cost him his place.

Catches win matches! The game yesterday showed that. Massive drop that. Cost them 16 already

Carberry was also dropped from the last Perth game. The Aussies love agar, would rather have carberry than him

I know he was dropped, hence using the word "again".

Agar bowls too. Which in t20 if someone is bowling bad, gives more options the more allrounder a you have.

100 for Wright! And he's probably taken his side home

80,000 crowd for a domestic game. Amazing effort from the Aussies! How long before the Ecb finally accepts franchise cricket

Could not believe the crowd

ECB will never do franchise as counties in it for themselves and ECB won't fight them on it

They are part of the big 3 now so could open a window in summer to get big names here and get crowds in but they won't as counties will demand huge compensation for letting there players play

Surprised that Ashton Turner gets in ahead of Carberry when he didn't bowl at all last match.

That drop was village.

Wiley gets Maddison next ball though.

Maddison having a mare this season.

Willey having a decent tournament with the ball. Not quite top wicket taker like Rashid..........

Never mind franchise cricket. Playing the tournament in a 6 weekish block during school holidays is great. Plus the fact it's on free to air tv almost every night.

Spot on. Tickets are reasonably priced too. They are definitely doing this right.

Just got home from the MCG.  That was completely unexpected, walking to the ground the people outside waiting to get in was ridiculous. Speaking to some of the attendants they had only banked on about 35K, so they catered accordingly in terms of the amount of bars and kiosks that were open. It was a perfect day for it, weather spot on, kids still on holidays and the game started an hour earlier than usual, so it was more of a family friendly time. 80K was insane, and the atmosphere was great, no drunken fools as you normally get at the Tests or ODIs. Big moment for the BBL, it is well and truly part of the Australian summer!

Chris gayle causing a storm and not with the bat...

Tried to chat up the interviewer. Commentators seemed in easy and wanted to move on quickly.

Ten minutes later they have issued an apology. And a statement saying it's not what cricket is about, not what they are abit and they respect all woman in the game, both players in the wbbl and others working elsewhere.

How else do they expect men and women get together. Got to start somewhere. It was clearly tongue in cheek, I was loving it. Don't blame him either, she was rather tasty. Didn't look impressed though, rather stuck up if you ask me. Channel 10 apologising for it just makes the whole thing worse. If they'd have laughed it off, no-one would care
