I was a bit the same Matt, but I've started nerding through the forum and seeing a few bats and working out what I like.

I'm looking for 2.8 - 2.9, so I've narrowed my options down to:

DB3
No.4
No.14

DB3 seems to have good reports about it's pickup, as does the No.4 - not sure if anyone owns the No.14 one yet?

Hi Chaps,

I am just about to hang my boots up for Christmas, apologies if I have not got back in touch about your bat, been absolutely flat out since the offer went live. I am back in on the 29th so will pick up then. I am not going to be turning my computer on over the Christmas break and spend a little time with Mrs B and my three young 'ens.

Just logged in to the forum for the first time in a fortnight due to work commitments, realised I missed the boat on this phenomenal offer and now feel physically sick (nowt to do with Mrs F's modest efforts with the turkey).
Had emailed David at B3 a few weeks back re a custom long blade. Christmas (almost) ruined!
The question now is whether I can bring myself to look at the bat porn which will be flooding the forum in a few weeks.
Bah bloody humbug.

Give it 6 weeks and there will be a few for sale on here even cheaper that will be barely used if used at all because they're an ounce too heavy!
