Bags!
« on: December 17, 2015, 06:37:12 PM »

A friend of mine has decided to buy my current cricket bag so I'm searching for a new one.

Surprisingly I have shortlisted 3 duffles! Need a bag which carries the following:

B&S Assegai
Red Ink Duffle
GN Atomic 500

Don't want something huge. Just need to carry 2 bats, a pair of pads, 2 pairs of gloves, thigh guard, arm guard, box, helmet and shoes. Also some whites.

The B&S and Red Ink dimensions aren't stated so can't compare with the GN

GN1000 carries that much comfortable

Red Ink carries all that with enough room for a small dog to run round in left

Red Ink duffle's served me very well for the last year or so, definitely recommend it.

Thanks @WalkingWicket37 and @edge. From the pic, the Red Ink does look a bit too big for my needs.

Thanks @Seniorplayer. Is it the eBay store called Sports-Bay?

I feel the Red Ink duffle may be a bit big for what you were looking for...

Yeah that does seem quite a huge bag for my needs! Do you know if the B&S Assegai is similar sized to this or the GN1000? @WalkingWicket37

I bought the Assegai duffle last year, review here.

Pros - Used it all season, quality seems good, easy to carry and ideal size for a couple of bats and one set of kit. Cons - no separate shoe pocket and valuables pocket inside doesn't have a zip.

Thanks @Chalkie. Seems to be very similar to the Ton duffle design!

Here is the Red Ink duffle next to the GN1000

For comparison purposes both have 2 bats, a pair of pads, 2 pairs of gloves, a thigh guard set, a cap, a box, a couple of balls, a pair of trainers and general crap that you'd carry.
In short they're both carrying match day kit excluding whites

A lot of them are the same ton bag with different  branding.
