They are next on the list to approve as we have worked on the basis that if our entry level model passes and we can get the shell materials, packaging etc all aligned for this then everything else will follow it with relative ease thereafter.

FYI the helmet with a steel grille is lighter than some other 2013 compliant Titanium models.

How much lighter do the titanium grills actually make it feel? Is it a big difference?

Correct, it will fit but wouldn't be 2013 compliant.

Our Ti grille would bring the weight down by approx 125g overall from 872g with a steel to approx 747g.

872g approx (I say approx as variables will exist such as amount of glue used to fix in liner etc so everyone may have a small variation).

It will fit onto the shell yes but wouldnt be 2013 compliant due to the alignment of the old grille with the peak etc. @smilley792 posted some pics showing the difference between the old model and new version.

I may be on my own, but I have no idea why people have purchased the new helmet to trial and then Want to mess about fitting an old grill.

Firstly why not just buy(or keep) an old helmet if that's what your after.

Or secondly, it's not really helping Tom here get a good feel and feedback on these helmets(the purpose of the trial) if everyone's switching out the grills so soon.

What's rough cost of titanium? Does anything think it's really worth upgrading from steel?
