I know its not all about looks but just skimming through the recent posts theres a few 2 stripes popped up that, in my opinion, are better lookers

My 3 Stripe is pretty clean but with a similar amount of grains (less than I expected to be fair) to @johnrockin but I guess when we're getting them half price we shouldn't be too fussy and should just be grateful really.

"3 Stripes - This is the finest Grade 1 English willow that money can buy. Each cleft will have between 6 and 20 straight grains and only minor blemishes outside of the main playing area. The weight, balance and density will be conducive to providing a bat that picks up lighter than it looks."

To be fair, they both have the required number of grains and the blemishes are outside of the main playing area, so technically both 3 stripes as per the description. Obviously we've all seen better but then we do get treated on here!

@northernboy1987 - the price is irrelevant, if it's an insurance claim then B3 will still be getting full whack for them after all

I maybe didn't word that very well, what I was meaning is if I'd paid full price then I'd have expected some input but as I got it for half price I'm more than happy with what I received

Got mine this morning and to say I'm over the moon is an understatement!  Thanks @thedoctor and all at B3.

Went for the new Mullanator shape and the weight is 2lb 12.9oz on my scales.  As this was my first offering from B3 I opted for a 1 stripe as I really already had my bats for this season.  Initial tap up with ball and mallet is very impressive and the bat has really exceeded my expectations for a 1 stripe.

Can't wait to get in the nets come early Feb now! 

Sorry pic quality isn't great, as good as it gets with my iPad!  Don't usually go for overly bright grips/stickers but thought what the hell, why not!

Just to add to people commenting on looks, I ordered and picked up a 3 stripe as well and I wouldnt agree that the looks match B3's description, marks in the playing area and all. But its performing really really well already, so as long as it carries on im not too fussed.

In this boat, i get the two on my b3 are lower down the face and probably not the "playing surface" but it would be nice. However if it goes well thats all that matters

It's not perfect, there is a slight wobble in 5 of the 17 grains just below the Bespoke sticker
