Are you serious @procricket B3 ?

How can you compare the last two 3 stripes on this thread to those 2 reserves you just put up? Both are the models below the mega expensive models (Sig and Crown). There is no comparison mate. @JB has a great looking 3 Stripe on pg 1. @johnrockin 's looks nothing like this and @dcullen8 is similar. Am I the only one who has had issues with the looks? Even the guys who say "Who cares what it looks like" still think it looks ugly but choose not to care, which is fine. These are concerns from your customers mate, not just me.

I'm not a whiz on the computer but I had a 1 stripe from this thread next to @JB 3 stripe and there was next to no difference.

I do love Laver, you're right about that. If there is a picture of a reserve on here that looks like the two 3 stripes in question then please show me and I will disappointed.

That H4L bat whilst obviously well made and probably an axe was also slated by other members but feel free to just drag me down with that one. You could have brought up all my posts where I drool over some of the offerings. I have looked back at some of your old posts as well mate (Before you were connected with B3) and you talk about grading on there "Grading is simple about straight lines and the equal spacing plain and simple". and "you see people with there usual wow comments when some know it not a grade 1yet the great comments flow because it a forum sponsor" You go on to say that grading is subjective etc, which it is. This was also a long time ago and you probably learned a lot more since then, no real need to bring up past comments.

David has always been very open about the company and thats what I find appealing about B3, you have nothing to hide. B3 make great bats and thats why I want one. If people (Not just me) are not happy with a bat and you think its just some whinging then thats up to you.

I like bats plain and simple. Laver, B3, GN (Not GM lol) or anyone else. I also like a pretty looking bat especially if I shell out $750 NZD for it, am I alone on this?

All the bats have clean playing areas that's my point bats have blemishes

I must say that this feud between the two of you should probably be done more privately. However, I am sure that it has been stated previously (although a while back) by B3 that they employ a 'no quibble guarantee' so i'm sure that if there is serious dispute with anyones stick then hopefully it can be resolved PEACEFULLY AND WITHOUT SQUABBLING  If i remember correctly this thread is to show off our 50% off bargains!

I for one have not received mine yet but at a half price I don't really care so much for the looks when the likes of other brands, without naming any, give us some stinkers sometimes as at the end of the day a bat is not for looking at- it is for striking the leather. It is the resultant performance the bat brings that will give any owner their satisfaction. I am assuming the variety of willow appearance per grade has increased exponentially with the demand in the market over the years! So there are obviously going to be significant differences between each one in the spectrum especially when everyone is looking at getting a bat from the same density cleft as one another.

Rather than taking a side with the whole situation, it is surely better to understand the issues but also remember that we are getting a half price bat!
