I wish...[emoji1] but the pitches here in US makes the ball skid and keep low. Many a times you are through your shot for a raising ball and the ball keeps low and hits the bottom. Very few oppurtunities to cut the ball..mostly drives and play in V

Vishwas if you can wait till Saturday I show you a bat just been designed by a American gentleman which is a bit like Chris Lynn bat it may be a tad shorter in the blade but has the bigger toe and bottom I have ever seen on a bat and maybe perfect for what you mention

I was truly amazed at the profile and I'm down on Saturday doing some work pal I try get pictures tomorrow though

Fantastic! I have been wondering, to those who have received their bats and feel slightly hard done by on looks. Do you feel that the offer has become a way to negate the expectation of usual quality standards from B3? not stirring up anything I just want to see what people think... a question purely based on the looks more than the ping/performance.

I think you're seeing an example of how a lot of orders in a short time and the resulting posts shows how there is a wonderful yet marked variance in different pieces of timber � a natural non uniform material.

tbh looking at the pics, more often than not, the willow looks are not great. I did think about trying the 50 percent off but so glad I opted out in the end. im sure they will do returns exchanges etc so no biggie

Cant imagine it's easy to sort through all the clefts and find perfect oversize 400 density ones, as everyone seems to be opting for the lightest possible big bat.

If someone was really that bothered about looks, they should've bought a premade that fitted their criteria or made the trip and had a look at the clefts.

Spot on mate I going up to b3 on the 13 February with a friend to sort our bats out and it's a fair drive from sunny Kent

At least you're in the same time zone. Id love to be able to go to the factory (I have a great interest in seeing the CNC machines).

@JB Not everyone lives in UK or close to B3 where they can goto factory and pick their own cleft .. i would love to do it but not possible . if its picking up premade then it doesnt have to be a B3 it could be any off shelf bats or any bat maker , isn't it beats the purpose of custom bats ? goal of going with custom bat maker is to choose you own shape, handle and other stuff like stickers ... This is just my opinion and what i feel

I also think that it has been great seeing all these different bats (shapes, blemishes etc). I just feel that there needs to be a clear difference from a 2 stripe to a 3 stripe. The B3 custom is "RRP" just under �100 more expensive for a 3 stripe over a 2. That to me means I should be getting a much better looking blade (IMO). From what I have seen on this thread it does not seem to be the case.
Before this 50% offer came along I had only seen beautiful looking B3 3 stripe bats. Irrespective of the 1/2 price we have had to pay the same high standards that have seen B3 become a leading player in the bat making industry should remain.
