Looks lovely!

Second coat of oil applied now, it's literally just a pea sized amount to cover it, right? Somewhat nervy with this being my first knock in

I use the JM method of a cap full per coat which covers front, back and toe...

I agree oil, does not hurt it in that amount and it's needed to finish the knocking in properly. I wipe off any excess that pools though, but i met  a bloke who has been traditionally rolling/boning the edges and face for 50 years  (not knocking) and noticed he left the excess on so it softened for rolling. Mind you its hotter down here so less may be fine in the uk too.

Gents, just after some thoughts on the B3 handles. Most people have said that they are thick handles which I'm pleased with as I prefer a thick handle. I was wondering if anyone knows how they compare with say H4L or Rob Pack handles. I currently use both of these and still put a second grip on each. I've got a B3 on order and have asked for an oval handle with a double bind. Do B3 use a standard handle or do you have to specify thick or thin when you order?

Please bear this in mind though the trott "set" is extreme and whilst we will to a degree put and handle in any bat you will be advised because handle sets have to match the shoulders

The Trott is not a standard handle it a extreme handle set.

We will work with what you want and as brokenbat has said and he is a exact man with his bats and fair play to him we can do what you want within reason.

I would say our standard handle is a good size and as other have said it is not small so where people have used two grips one will do.

If you like a thin handle please state this as standard is certainly not small if your with me.

Hope this helps

Is it me or does the Trott look very similar to the first GM Purist?
