Used my Mull for the first time last night, highly impressive - the pick up really is sublime for something over 3oz heavier than my previous stick, the difference was barely noticeable!

I spent ages knocking in the toe so a little disappointed that this has happened. The seam marks look worse than they are with the shadowing but I guess I'll just keep working on the toe some more.

That's the beauty/frustration with natural products - You could spend 5 hours knocking the bat in yet someone else spends 10 minutes, yet their bat is fine but yours cracks.

Unlucky, but at least you can put some glue in it and sand it out.

Getting a toe crack has to be the biggest pain, you've spent good money on a bat for it to become damaged during first use but that't the nature of material. I don't think we can blame B3 for this as it could happen to any bat manufacturer and like I've said wood is a natural material so this can easily happen.

I plan to knock mine in a fair bit on the toe and edges and I'm not going to use it in indoor nets as I can't control what type of ball people use plus the fact tracks are hard and bouncy as well doesn't help.

Hate to say it, but the seam marks indicate it wasn't match ready. I think its a glue, tape, sand, reknock and it's fine.

Used my TKC in the nets yesterday.. Didn't find the middle as often as I would like but when it was found boy did it stay hit.
