They spelled sharpie wrong on the end one...

With the new regulations regarding branding on the edges of a bat I doubt they would be pro bats now, nice story to increase sales though...

I know edge branding is a problem for international matches. But do they enforce the same rules in county cricket or national level matches ? From himanshu's message it seems like these were picked for Ranji trophy players. I am not sure if this rule will be enforced with that high level of strictness ....

May be that is the reason they are selling in market.

as you have seen a few of these "Pro" cleft SS bats, do you see a difference in their performance as compared to off the shelf SS bats ?

I guess the pro clefts would be light pressed for high performance.

It's been discussed a number of times of the forum.

Quite a few in the industry have been told by senior people and even Jatin Sareen himself, that SS/TON do not write player names on the toe of bats in permenant marker.

why would you softly press a bat for performance when softer bats absorb more energy???

I have used Kullu bat which I got from Dave AND this bat SHAZAD, both are amazing bats. But at the same time, if you get top grade off the shelf should have similar performance..

Yes they do play better. I have one which pings better than off the shelf TON Reserve with ruler straight even grains.
Was sold to me as pro bat, regardless its a belter. I have seen 2 so far and both are exceptional.
Looks wise not so much.
