Got to say they all look like cracking bats mate, were they made for customers who turned them down due to the weight?

No they weren't. The majority of my work is made to order but I do make some pre mades just because there are a lot of people out there that like to see a bat made up before they buy. I just use my years of experience in the first class game and coaching in my bat making to make bats that feel great. There are lots of clefts that bat makers receive that are heavier so the skill is to make them and get a lighter than dead weight feel, which by the way a exactly what the pro players want. It's about feel not weight. Obviously if your a 2-7 user non of these would suit but people who like 2-10 weight range in bats they are perfect, it's just the dead weight is more. If you consider the bindings and grip weigh 3oz then the extra dead weight is at the top of the bat acting as a counter balance. Same principle that you see with some professionals when they put a lead tape around the top of their bat handle to counter balance the weight of the bat. That's just the extreme way of counteracting a very heavy bat.

Hi Paul, realised I emailed the contact I had with you over a year ago, do you still pick up your emails to the me.com address or should I resend to the one you've posted in this topic?

Couldn't agree more, its all about the feel in the hands and how comfortable you are when playing shots.
