Australia Vs India
« on: January 11, 2016, 02:46:26 PM »

First Odi starts in 12 hours. It will not be easy for team India, but the top order did get some runs during warmup games.

Rns bats being used , here a pic from espncricinfo showing RNS bat - looks like Ashwin's bag

Rohit and Kohli piling on looks like...
Interesting to see if they can carry the momentum all 50 overs.

Rohit Sharma just broke his bat while hitting Boland for a six ! 169 of 161 balls => Shows how much Australia is missing Johnson & Starc. If either of two were present, i am not sure if RS would have managed to score this much ...

Australian batting is quite strong. India are probably short by 20 to 30 runs ... I would say a score of 330 might have given them a tough time.

309 is nothing for one dayers these days, especially with the batting line up the Aussies have.

India bowlers have a task. Their bowling attack isn't that great TBH. Barring B Kumar, the pace attack is nothing more than average

Bat a bit. Bowl a bit. Not too bad at point either!

Rohit really does get a fair few scores of 150+.

Looking at the scorecard, if someone gets 169 you'd to get more than 309. Warner and finch to tee off and knock this off in no time

Switched on with 10 overs or so gone in the Aus innings, how did India only manage to get 309 with 7 wickets left in the hutch? Pitch looks a belter, India look a bowler or too short in a big way.

Just watched a tiny bit and it looks easy pickings for the batsmen, milking the spinners nicely.

Crowd looks a little low though?

Aussies walking this.

Strange that a guy got 171 and the commentary team are saying he batting to slow and may have cost India the game.
Crickets a funny sport.

Well I'd say that was timed and paced pretty perfectly although the slight wobble at the end did liven it up a little.
