reluctant to be critical for someone who gets 170 odd but if your in that much it's your responsibility to get your team as much as possible to put the game out of reach.......300 really aint enough these days on good wickets.

Clinical as we've come to expect by Smith, he'll be disappointed with himself for getting out though.

India should've got 350+ to have a chance TBH. When you pick two spinners in Australian conditions you are somewhat rolling the dice.

Aussies walking this.

Strange that a guy got 171 and the commentary team are saying he batting to slow and may have cost India the game.
Crickets a funny sport.

I would blame Dhawan - faced 22 balls for his 9 runs  :D

Seems odd that west indies aren't playing an ODI series vs aus.

Maybe finally someone saw sense and relieved them of international status??  Would have been pointless bludgeoning them all around the park again tbf

When asked by broadcaster Channel 9 about a potential DRS reversal, Bailey responded: "We're not the team that doesn't want it".

He can say all he wants. I don't think Bailey was the key today. India needed smith's wicket more than anybody else .. Getting him out in the last over won't help.

Agree, but I just love how India's refusal to accept DRS keeps biting them in the bum  :D

India's problem is Steve Smith. He has been in prolific form against Indian bowlers since India's tour of Australia 2014-2015. They should figure out a plan to get him out as soon as possible. Or else this series is going to be a long and hard one .. Probably might signal the end of MS Dhoni as a captain and player as well ...

I hear (but did not see) Dhoni was complaining because they don't like DRS umpires punish them by calling 50/50 calls against them.

Ok so it was a leading question by the reporter but if its true I think fair play as only India think they are better than DRS so they should feel the brunt until either the ICC grow some balls and make it mandatory or they get over themselves.

@roco read the article before making this comment. Dhoni didn't complain even though the reporter wanted him to. Here is the link to that http://www.espncricinfo.com/australia-v-india-2015-16/content/story/961593.html
