I enjoyed watching Rohit, Dhawan, and Kohli bat. They are proper batsmen and played some beautiful shots. Even their sixes were fun to watch - easy on the eyes. Warner and Finch Also clean strikers of the ball and deservingly openers of their side. But man o' man, Bailey, Smith, and Maxwell are plain ugly! Did they train in a baseball camp before turning for that match? Atrocious!

Dhoni doing his best to cost his team this game. 7 of 21 and now he's just been dropped.
Looks like the Aussies want to keep him in

Strange from Dhoni, why does he leave everything until the last over?

Well done to the Indians - well paced chase in the end and well batted Pandey. Numerous dropped catches prove costly for the Aussies. And as well as Mitch Marsh batted, he needs a slower bowl if he is to be a close out bowler.

I didn't say that you did.. I was using my Tendulkar/Gavaskar as a benchmark.
No I was not aware of the Tendulkar stat, but I know he scored more than 1 in England and at least 1 in South Africa, so to be honest I don't see your point.
Of course Kohli has time on his side but I don't think he will score more centuries away from India than Tendulkar did.
Tendulkar was a humble player who knew his flaws and worked very hard on his game throughout his career to ensure he was one of the best.
Kohli has had the same failings for the last 3 years so role on the next tour of England...

There was an interesting article on Cricinfo about the changes Kohli has/is making to his technique that I found a really good read

Great example last night of why India won't use DRS, the umpire crumbled last night under the pressure of an Indian appeal. Is there a bigger grub in international cricket than Kholi? People love to bash the Aussies ( fair bit of it deserved ) but this guy is Ponting x10 yet it gets played down as standing up to nasty Australians, second only to Tendulkar as my least respected Indian player with shoe polish Gavaskar in 3rd.

I would suggest the 2 lbw appeals with the 2nd one given out.... He didn't give the 1st one out cause the bowler went in front of him... Well if you look he was in the exact same position yet he gave the second one out... Neither of which where out due to pitching outside leg

You could see ashwin having a proper moan when the umps said he couldn't see. I thought he was gonna cry.

Next ball he triggered. Didn't look out just looked like the umps wanted to make up for it for some reason. Shame as finch was going at that point.

Hen a few overs later. Head given out. It hit him about a foot outside off. Two shockers that could have changed the game.

As for kohlis send off for smith. Not sure if if he was referring to previous games chat or he misunderstood that smith was mic'd up to commentators.
Either way he looked a proper turd. But then he is a bell end so what Do we expects

Stuff happens on the field. Kohli send off was probably about chatting on the mic. I can understand chatting with commentators from the field in BBL. But for an international game that can be avoided.

I didn't see the first appeal, highlights cover only the second lbw I guess. It looked out to me may be a slower replay would do more good.

Every team has specimens like Kohli and their on-field drama makes it more interesting. As long as they don't start a verbal fight I think these antics are fine ...

Seems like anti-India sentiment is pretty strong here :)
