I thibk that he mmeant that he would send ME some as welll.

But I have kind of taken a couple of bats that Hit4Six wanted from under his nose!
So send myself and Craig some photos ian, but will certainly give Craig first dibs on the bat if thats cool?
Don't wanna keep nicking bats from him! Or it may ruin a perfectly good friendshhip mate!!!  ;D

Oh right, I see now, well Ian, send some pictures and I will consider it.

Pete, dont worry mate, if you want that bat, go ahead mate, it wont affect our relationship bud. I just have some money, and as with all people, I have a feeling its going to burn a hole in my pocket and I will spend it before the new year. But Pete, if you want it, go ahead, I seriously wont mind!

Have more than enough great bats - but will discuss with you later mate.

Anyway - back on the subject again!
As I said earlier - best bat used was Laver & Wood Firefly.

But bats I have that may be equal to the Laver would be:

Custom Newbery
Custom Bradbury
Screaming Cat Professional
Redback Allegiance
M&H Harlequin

I must have had around 100 bats in my time, but I think I can only compare the 4-5 I have used for a considerable amount of time.

By far the best, as mentioned above, was a kookaburra kahuna warrior (graphite), however the Champ bat that I used last year (now owned by Liam_SCCC) is well up there with it.

Looking to get a M+H this year, but still slightly undecided. I may have to sit down on here one night and read some of the reviews.

i've said it a million times on this forum, that if you want  a guaranteed top bat that has a middle all the way up, get a M&H. a lot of money but worth every penny when scoring buckets of runs....

Well - I must admit that the M&H Harlequin I purchased a couple of months ago feels like it'll be a beaut!! And they seem to be making excellent bats at the mo!
And bats I may well try next year are:

- M&H Distinction (dependant on reviews)
- Redback Limited Edition (dependant on how my premium plays)
- Black Cat (dependant on how Slogs rates his)
- Screaming Cat Peofessional (Dependant on how my second hand one performs)
Will no doubt see several other bats that will interest me, but play it by ear!

Its a toss up for me between my newbery lightweight (which i think may have been a harrow) which is still in the loft and the newbery series one for me! Both went like stink and not being a particulary defensive batsman i think i clocked a fair few runs with the series one!!

Yes thanx Pete answering emails at 2am this morning but you never can avoid work when its for yourself!! lol

Still got it at the moment he hasnt exactly rushed to come and see it and take it off my hands as yet so may end up going to a new home. Not sure ill need it in my kit bag as once the bats i sent to Hit4Six arrive back plus the mjolnir and Ayrtek one ill have 4 bats already!

May have to make way to put funds towards a new LCD Tv for when i move new week if there is any interest in it from people.

I know how you feel chap! I purchased a Warsop Venom pro for our opening batsman. £200 and he hasn't collected it!
So I may have to keep it myself, trade it or sell it if he's still not interested next month!  :-\
