Women!! Can't live with them.........................

I'm afraid @WalkingWicket37  and @Batbuddy99  are responsible for pice and video this time, I only took a couple.

Mr Miyagi - fuzzy and out of focus (which is how he likes it) - he is carrying a bucket of horse-feed.

Nick Saunders showing Cam the Carom Ball with triple pike and half-somersault.

Northern Monley showing his perfect side-on action with heavy sweating to the off - Batbuddy is taking evasive action.

My missus never complains about my action or sweating!
And I'm walking like I've sh@t myself
I'm gonna sit an fondle bats next time instead of demonstrating my side on action

Well I've just finished sorting out my bag and hobbling round, so I'll try to sort some pictures out.

This will mean I have to take my laptop to bed, so if they don't appear tonight just assume I got distracted by other stuff on t'internet  ;)

Apologies for the picture quality (or lack of...) just because I have a posh looking camera it doesn't mean I know what I'm doing with it!
I'll also apologise for anyone I didn't photograph, I was netting and showing everyone what an elegant bowling action really is! (There is some video footage of this, but I cannot for the life of me work out how to get it off my camera, I'll have a look tomorrow ant try to upload the video footage)

First to bat was @simonmay5 who likes to dink things behind square on the off side. Good luck doing that with the tennis ball bounce we had to contend with today

He also went all IPL on us at one stage!

Next up was a @Northern monkey who answers to the name Mark.
I wasn't comfortable standing in the net to take pictures, as he likes to hit it back where it came from very hard!

He started off blocking

Then started sending the ball flying!

Now for the forums very own Mr Miyagi @ppccopener

He's a proper batsman, one who doesn't try to hit everything for 6.
That confused a few of us in attendance, but if it works who are we to knock it?

Solid in defence

But more than capable of giving the trash a smash!  ;)

There was even a KP esque flamingo came out!

Next up is Benji's Hanky Dad, Paul.
As Bruce has already said, he goes a magnificent colour when bowling.

He is a traditional batsman. He's also very busy at the crease, which resulted in blurred photos (yeah, that must be it...)

You watch the ball come down

And guide it into the off side!

The last "batsman" I got pictures of was the multi-coloured helmet wearing @petehosk
Whereas last time I commented on Pete's batting I said he liked to drive the ball, on the bouncy pitch today he liked to smash it wherever he could basically!

Respecting the bowling from @FattusCattus

Going leg side

Going off side

Mooooooooooo!

And now for a few more pictures, to help put faces to names.

@uknsaunders looking mean!

Then sneaking off to speak to @IWTUK instead of bowling!  ;)

Here we have Benji (@Batbuddy99) fondling Simon's wood.
Behind him Dan from Chase is doing his best not to look impressed by Pete's Salix.

Great post mate and was a really enjoyable day and yes trying to cut the ball today was quite a challenge just because of the very high tennis ball bounce especially of the slow bowling it seemed to pitch on a good length but would pop up to chest hight the interesting thing was the bowling machine on 75 was much more consistent because it skidded of the floor and had a decent amount of bounce without being to much anyway thanks guys for a great day and especially to cam for setting the net up again and already looking forward to the next net  :)

Anyone else feeling a bit sore this morning?

Anyone who has seen me taking Tammie for a walk will assume that I've shat myself...  :-[

Yeah I am too, good job I don't have to take the cat for a walk!

Where's the picture of my glorious LBW appeal Cam?

I'll look forward to bowling at some of you at Everley,  with some more realistic bounce it should be a good fun battle as I unleash my benders on you!

I don't think the glorious LBW appeal was caught on camera. I have let you, the forum and myself down  :(

As for the unrealistic bounce, it was just silly. @uknsaunders got a couple above knee height and everything!
Highlight was @petehosk, the mystery spinner, pitching a loopy leg break on a length that ended up at Fattus' chin height!

The size of my belly, I'd know idea there was actually muscle under there somewhere, until trying to move this morning!
Was well worth it tho, I'm not a fan of indoor nets, especially when the bounce bears so little resemblance to a grass wicket, but it was a cracking day, with a good bunch of cricket enthusiasts enjoying stroking each other's willow offerings.
Even got to touch a laver signature!

Has that laver seen a cricket ball yet? I think that's the one I sold to Pete a few years ago.
