Memorabilia
« on: January 21, 2016, 11:32:11 PM »

Currently trying to populate a display cabinet in my front room with a few signed shirts/bats etc and got me wondering what other signed/match worn stuff my fellow forumites have?  :D

Got some stuff with Lancashire CC players' autographs on, although don't ask me who's because apart from Faf Du Plessis (who took an entire half of the spine of an autograph bat), Ashwell Prince and Glen Chappel, I can't remember who signed what. I've also got a programme signed by Devon Malcolm lying around somewhere.

I've only actually kept a few bit over the years as most has been given away in comps.

-Ashes worn lid signed by Carbs
-Trott signed NB bat that I got for my son's nursery...he also has a signed Eric Cantona pic (long story involving Silent auction and too many pints, Especially as a Liverpool fan!) and a World Cup 66 Bobby chart on and Bobby stiles signed pic.

Wife keeps asking when they are being taken down but I think they are exactly what any 5 month old needs on his bedroom wall 😀

cricket wise the only bit of memorabilia i have is a signed bat from all the 2012 surrey squad which was bought it in a silent charity auction - some decent/interesting names on there to be fair but not being from Surrey it's a bit wasted on me

Other signed stuff is:

- signed Roy Jones Jr trunks
- signed Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield trunks
- signed Steven Gerrard england shirt
- signed World Cup '66 squad photo

and the personal highlight of a signed Steve Beaton photo

Speaking of Jimmy, I've got his worn England shirt, signed by 5 or 6, from the 2009 Ashes. It's at my folks' house in a frame :)
