I was bouncing a ball on a Ghost 500 at Asad's shop and was so damn tempted to take it!
The one I had was 2'10 and 40mm+ edges and no concaving. The mid middle seems to give it a decent feel and balance too!
A lovely profile and the stickers look stunning.

Am wondering if Kook could have deliberately made a load of G2 Ghosts and called them G3 as a marketing exercise. I still haven't seen one that looks anywhere near G3 willow.

They're able to keep the weight down by tapering the width at the BACK of the bat. So while the face is full width, the back of the bat is actually narrower. I personally wouldn't care, but thats how they've gotten these specs / weight.

Why is the pro unique to cricket direct? Anyone know?

Vitas cricket, what's the difference in your experience.

Is there anything different about a Ghost? Is it a long handle / short blade thingy?

Specs wise Ghost is one the best bats available under 200 GBP. The one i got has 44 mm edges, 68 mm spine, No concaving at 2-11. Kook says it is a G3 but all the bats i saw on forum including mine looks G2.

I think Jake has mentioned this before in another thread but if I remember basically if any single retailer orders 100 units of a bat they can have their own range so say a shop wanted the ghost in 750 grade they could have it if they bought 100 units or something along those lines

Anyone noticed any width difference in Top end Kook bats last and this season? Reason being they are made by SG and all the SG bats with full profiles are shorter on width to get the desired weight and size I guess.
