Jakes prob a Sky customer which means you can get Sky Sports Xtra online, something which virgin used to have it seems but now dont :(

Yes chrome and Firefox removed silver light plugin support a while back, so safari or IE are the main browsers

I'm watching via the sky sports app on my iPad if anyone wants to give that a try. You have to have a valid sky id with sports package subscription for the TV of course

ive got the ipad app but couldnt see the channel on the listing?

The link above seems to work on Firefox for me though.

The sky sports news app as it used to be called. Its just called 'sky sports' now i think
