Kook Pro players duffle
« on: January 28, 2016, 03:44:41 PM »

Has anyone seen one for sale or know of any left. Ive looked at the new KD5000 and i prefer the older pro players. For the money the kd5000 is there are bags of same size out there for a lot less. Second option is local company Raw who's duffle is £45

If you are going to get a Raw bag you may as well get the same thing but branded differently from a range of brands that we sell, for the same amount, or less in some cases :)

That style is the the most common style of duffle bag from smaller brands and is relatively similar to the Kook Pro Players in terms of having 2 internal bat sleeves, 2 large side pockets and one large central compartment.

You've seen the Raw bag already if you looked at the H4L, B&S or Focus bags we had in stock when you came in last, we also have the same style of bag now available from New Balance.

There is no perfect duffle bag for the needs you laid out when you visited. The Kook Pro Players was perhaps closest, but was discontinued as customer feedback was it was way too wide/bulky.

Thats a shame as the pro players for me was much better than current offerings. I cant find one anywhere at the minute, ill have a look at your website mate and take a look, I did notice the h4l was identical to the Raw when I was showed one by a fellow club player. Im not fussed at all about branding.

Looks like they're in stock here, Kev:

San Francisco is a strange place to buy your cricket kit from though, probably get stung with shipping/customs charges aswell, but can't seem to find them anywhere else online. Only in Verve colourway aswell, if you like that kind of thing.

For that money you could get a brand new GN Supernova, which everyone is raving about.

What customers did they ask for feedback? I love mine and others at my club feel the same.

Which is the smallest of the current duffle bags that is suitable for adult kit?

the have a few shops in the south west and its cheaper in store as its reduced to about £45 i think.

i have the same bag but in a different colour and absolutely love it although do agree a little narrower would probably not do any harm but im very happy with it

I purchased last one VKS had as trying a duffle for the first time this year and can't see any downsides so far as not bulky at all

Another one here who likes their Pro Player's Duffle...

Only slight annoyance from me is having to 'flip' over the top compartment everytime to get into the main compartment. Not the end of the world but if you've got something heavy in the clothes compartment, it can be a bit of a chew on if you need instant access.

The Pro Players model was a excellent bag and if they had continued it this year, there would have been no complaints from us.

The KD5000 however is a improvement in terms of the fabrics used as well as the more manageable design. Overall I would say they have made a good bag even better.
