Reading this whole thing back, this is exactly how you are coming across if I'm honest.

Well you need to be more honest enough then mate.

It's all on one sticker, so it's impossible to remove just a section?
I can officially do the impossible with a scalpel now then!

And you may find this hard to beleive, but the people in shops are trying to make a sale. They may tell the odd fib to convince you to part with your cash every now and then  ;)

Just read this thread for the first time and now my head hurts.

If whoever owns the bat is happy with it, or is trying to sell it, fine.

It would take far more than certain stickers being on a bat (or not) and the steadfast belief that because the bat has those stickers on it, then it must be that brand of bat.

There's a saying along the lines of 'if it walks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it's probably a duck.'  Not the case with pro cricket bats, could be anything.  If it looks like an SS and is used by a guy sponsored by SS (who says it's an SS), it's not necessarily an SS!  I also appreciate the duck analogy is not ideal on this forum  :D

Well said and totally agree.
Just thought I do a review of the bat and show to forum memebers Sangakarras bat but didn't know I would get bombarded with all this biased opinions.

I have no doubt this could be a pro bat, it looks the part 100%. But anyone trying to sell it as a sanga bat (or buying it as sanga bat) on thr basis of only this stickers, nothing else, is bound to be shot down with criticism.

Im sure SS wouldnt knock a few of these pro stickers on a couple of g1 bats and sell them on for a bit more money.

Clearly shows how bias you are.
Ok get a SS master 9000 series bat and then remove the 9000 and then show me how it looks. Think you need to look at the sticker closely to see if you remove the 9000 with anything you can clearly tell then.
Also the dealer who also had the same bat wasn't selling it and said he will not get any more. And he kept it for himself.

You can do the impossible with a scalpel then I be waiting for you to do it on a SS master 9000 then we see.

Lighten up mate, it was a joke!

Your words for the day seem to be bias and hater, which to be honest is a better description of you than anyone else commenting on this thread from your aggressive manner.

As for getting a master 9000 to cut the stickers up, I could but can find better ways to waste my hard earned money. I suppose after I did the cutting I could sell it on at a profit by saying it was Sangakarra's though...  ;)

Lol at this thread.

If you're happy with the bat, that's all that matters. If it is a Sangakkara's bat then it's an added bonus.

Unless you have physically been handed the bat by Sanga himself, it's extremely difficult to back up a claim that it has come from his rejected batch.

Many bats with those claims have come and gone

This is all well and good, except his friend is selling the bat, surely can't sell it as a sanga bat with just these stickers as proof

Agreed - I'd need a lot more than the stickers as proof, especially considering the amount of fake stickers that come out of Asia - it's like Hong Kong for bags and watches...

Research into his SS bat shape, weight, how it was acquired would be absolute minimum for me.  Is he on Twitter?!

Have you got a clearer pic of his as I believe it has something under the stars... If you look closer some of the star as blurred like there is something written either under the stars or between
