Recommend me a new bag?

Evening all, yes another bag thread. After a new one for 2016 season, currently have a wheelie bag with a hole in the end, so definitely completely unusable and needs replacing. :D

Needs to carry 2 bats - preferably in bat pockets - plus all the normal gear (pads, gloves, whites, spikes etc.) Would love more pockets (current bag only has main compartment and small pocket at one end), external or internal, to organise everything.

Been looking at the GN1000 Duffle Bag, but not sure I'd be a fan of lugging everything around on my back... Anyone recommend me something from experience? Around £40? Cheers.

One of the B&S duffles for £25 are worth a look if they still have them in stock. Well within budget.

I find lugging everything on your back much, much easier than rolling a wheelie. Sounds counter-intuitive perhaps, but its actually more comfortable - especially if you've gone camping before and know a few tips on the best way to distribute weight (you can google it too).

Hmm. The dragging along the floor probably caused the hole. A duffle might be the way forward.

How come everyone raves about the Supernova? Is it that much better than a GN1000 which would be cheaper?

Its bigger, and it has 3 seperate and well protected bat sleeves, whereas the gn1000 has two which are internal, right next to wet kit or hard shoes, helmet etc.

Supernova duffle is new from GN for 2016 and that bag has a really good finish. Check out the review of Supernova by IJC on youtube. You will get to know more details.

If you search the forum you will find a GN1000 thread by @WalkingWicket37. You could check that out too ...

Just watched the IJC reviews of both Supernova and GN1000. Might have to splash out on the Supernova. :D

Mine arrived this morning. Only gripe would be if the front pocked was bigger to fit a full set of dirty whites, skins and the sorts. Saying that if half the forum has one, can you really go wrong ?!
