Not worth the hassle to save a few dollars or pounds. Go local or buy online from the country you are based in. I would speak to someone at paypal.  Good luck

Open a paypal dispute. Guarantee that he will be touch very sharpish to solve it. Rather than waiting the weeks OLS have done already.

Definitely open a PayPal dispute, it immediately freezes the value in the sellers account so that they can't access that amount until the dispute is resolved, it will definitely get things moving quickly.

A good mate of mine has bought off them a few times without any issue of delivery to Australia.

Your issue here is the very poor customer service. Regardless of which of the delivery/shipping companies made the stuff up, that isn't your fault as the customer.
The onus is on the the business to fill your order and 6 weeks later without any action from them is just bull$hit!

Go the paypal dispute rate just to get your dollars back.

I've had good and bad dealings with OLS.  When it goes as planned, no worries, but at the slightest glitch, PayPal dispute is the only way to go.

Excuses I've gotten:
Factory burned down, relocation, factory flooded, unable to retrieve the customs I needed, already sent (no tracking - so BS)  All of this with one order of 150 pounds.

Then I ordered club kit and player kit at around 1.000 pounds, and it took 7 days from order to delivery. Funny company that..

At least there were no fundamental flaws in his excuses...

Either that, or the bloke is extremely unlucky with a burned down factory rebuild and then flooded.

Maybe it flooded putting the fire out, or the drying process caused it to catch fire!  ;)

Or he was just really unlucky, and relocated due to a fire then the new factory flooded...

No real surprise given the track record of this company.

Don't forget, that much like with Cricmart, should you actually receive your goods, you'll be left hanging if/when they break.

The below is taken from their returns policy. 2 month warranty? Yes please!

''Note About Damaged Bats :

A very small percentage of bats sold are liable to crack under the massive stresses which take place when the ball hits the willow. This is why it is very important that your should take care when playing with your bat for the first time, you MUST ensure you have knocked in your bat, especially on the sides and on the bottom. Even if a bat is described as ready-to-play you should take care when using it in its infancy.... (It is usual for a cricket bat to have many minor cracks in the face.) Unfortunately we do receive bats back from customers who have mis-treated their bat, and if the manufacturer recognizes this, they will return the bat to the customer untouched. If a bat is returned to us and the manufacturer agrees there is a fault with the bat, they will then either fix or replace the damaged bat. Returns can take up to 4 weeks to repair or replace. If you do feel your bat has cracked or split and that there is a flaw with the willow please return it to the above address with a note explaining what happened. If the bat is over 2 months old, you will have little or no case for replacement.''
