When you are poo with the bat, you cannot possibly go with all matching kit as it will invite ridicule at the bottom-feeder levels I play at.

However, I have an OCD thing about matching softs for some reason.

Blank OLS softs and the H4L Warbird for me this year.

The main reason I end up getting full kit every season is because I end up meeting different companies or bat makers and I like a good bundle deal; mainly because I'm a massive tight ass when it comes to money. Some people like getting kit from different brands, I've just been brought up playing cricket with cricketers who like having full kit. All about personal preferences.

Most of my team use Aldred bats as we know Paul
Softs are very ranging from old slaz to grays and gm not so much b3

My kit I'm still massively undecided

I find seeing pros in odd kit combinations strangely entertaining. (I perhaps need to get out more?)

I'm normally a full kit badger as I think it just looks smarter, that said, I've discovered that I am a hobbit and standard men's pads are normally too big for me, except for Kookaburra but the straps are way too long and kept coming undone when running!!  Last season I started using the Uzi black mambas and they are fine for me, going to use them until they die pretty much.  Generally go for Kookaburra gloves to match the bat, if they have a sausage style available!

Go to H4L mate, I promise you won't be disappointed (but your wallet will be a lot lighter when you leave!)

M&H looks like nice softs but with the bat it's massively overpriced and moral horrendous. Big fan of Newbury kit, but H4L is the way to go!!

My plan for next year is to buy a Laver & Wood and then buy unbranded stuff from Online Stockists.

I like to use kit from the same brand too when I can. I use Willostix bats, pads, gloves and box and have done for six years. With my other kit that Willostix don't supply i use the Aero P1 strippers thigh pads, Masuri Vision Elite Titanium helmet and Adidas Adipower Vector boots.

I personally like to use kit of the same colour if possible as well as the same brand. Within the Willostix range I use the Spitfire range and previously used the Anaconda range which was a very similar colour combination. I am very interested in the new Gray Nicolls Supernova range and the colours look really nice as well. I had the Supernova duffle and am very impressed with the quality and colour.

What I would say is I'm very brand loyal as before my current Aero thigh pads I had two pairs of P2's before upgrading and have been using Adidas cricket boots for 4 seasons or so now.

I Have been using Laver reserve without stickers (Plain Bat) for 3 years now. This year it got refurbed and ready to go for another couple of years I guess. even though I own a Aldred butterfly, RNS and an old Kook (which gave up last year), couldn't change my match bat (Laver) as its getting me so many runs.
I always go with matching softs all the time. Was using SG & SS softs and thigh guards. This year the softs & Thigh guard changed to BAS players edition.

Am I the only one who's brand ocd stretches further than Cricket kit?
For example I have new balance spikes, therefore I had to get NB trainers aswell
Then I thought "when I go running I'm gonna look stupid in NB trainers and other clothes, so I got NB branded clothes too

The problem is I really like the new adidas coloursheme on the spikes, so the cycle is gonna start again :(
