If you follow Marcus various feeds, there's something coming for this summer, it may not be a Toro but it's aimed at t20 if I understand him right.

As for the thread. My toro is awesome.
Ping is beautiful, pickup is fantastic, and if you run it in face down not edge down I can't see you having the digging in issues mentioned.!
Were you selling the Toro Chris?

I said either my laver or Toro, laver went first so kept the Toro.

To be fair it's got a lot of life left but as its used, not many will pay what id want for it.

Ahh fair enough, what price? Just out of interest, I'm not even sure what they were new!

Does the shorter blade require some getting used to ? I'd be getting it without ever having picked up one, as there isn't one where I live.

Also, does it pick up it's weight ? or lighter ?

I've been using both the WarBird and a normal SH B3 in the nets and don't really have to make any noticeable adjustment

The WarBird is a bit of a cannon!

Still undecided on the B3

I used to feel different using a Joker style bat - good batsmen used to hold it too low down the handle, but it also made me feel like I had to swing it like a club and go at everything (unlike me I know!)

However, the Warbird looks and feels like a normal bat, I see no reason why it would make anyone hold it or bat with it any differently.

Only ever handled one with an mmi3 so when I've used Toro and joker it's made no difference.

Some people will hold the handle further down. Which kinda defeats the object and is rather stupid.
Hold it in the same place and you'll be right.

I altered the grip on my toro, to create the oval bottom hand part two inches up the handle,to stop me dropping my hands to the bottom
You can definitely go a couple of ounces up on your normal weight due to the excellent pick up.

Both bats are very similar, any differences would be down to quality of willow etc
And of course availability
