England are first rating. Lots of talent just not been used right.

Root at 3 should have knocked 1s and 2s and got hales on strike. Look like who'd been told the run rate had to be kept as

Ali is not an international cricketer. Replace him.

Willey should be ahead of Jordan Atleast, I'd play him above Ali if not dropped.

Today Willey should have definately come in, left hander Vs Tahir is better than Jordan propping forward with that massive gap.

We don't have the bowling to defend this. Contenders for he World Cup? Not at mo

Firstly hello to all fellow members !
My view is you have to keep root. Morgan is one of those players which could well stand up and perform in the World Cup if he doesn't then you look at billings to come in at 6 and push either stokes or buttler to 4 and the other at 5. The other option their is Steven Finn has to come into the side and either Willey or Jordan will make way personally Jordan needs to go even though he is bowling well in this match but that's the first time I can say that for a while. The other option is Ali who needs to go then there is a decision play the extra pace bowler or experiment and throw Dawson into the deep end ? But if Willey bats he needs to be batting in front of rashid and Jordan not coming in at 10.

England view Willey as a bowler, bowlers bat at 10. That's the only logic here.

I agree that is their view process but they could well be made to look silly after a good last year at Northants in the t20 format and this year I would have thought Gillespie may well bat him high up at Yorkshire next year. I know Jordan is capable of hitting a decent ball but I question it at that level as for Rashid he is only going to work the ball.

Win or not, i think Jordan has redeemed himself given the recent criticism ... He bowled a fantastic line and length !

Bat a bit. Bowl a bit. Not too bad at point either!
