Mine does have enough pull, 250 watts. But it doesnt pull quick enough to make up for the slight leak at the ends of the grip.

I've tried with my hands on each side, and it works perfectly.. Not sure what to do now.

Bigger tubing would lead to a tighter pull of the grip, the GM grip applicator also has some ribs on the ends to help with the seal I'd imagine.

I have a 3 CFM pump and a 50mm tube this will pretty much do anything and will cope with leaky grips. I did try various pumps before opting for the current one and anything that was either hand or battery driven didn't seem able to cope. Have done around a hundred grips with my setup and it has coped with every type of grip. Let me know if you want more info.

Yeah, thats a better solution, but too expensive for me. It would set me back �70 with shipping. Cant seem to find anything local that goes without water..

I actually have mine working

It seems the end of the tube isn't creating a seal(maybe GM we're onto something with the ridges).

I used electrical tape to get a seal and the vacuum is pulled perfectly.

Then a new question arises. How to make a seal that works every time? Without tape that is.

Make a slight groove in the tube to allow an o ring to sit in?

Apparently I had a leak at the valve. I'm still using the original pvc setup, as I don't know a plumber or blacksmith. Loads of tape, and now it's perfect!

Might have to make a permanent seal though.
