The b3 looks a very very similar shape. But just a tad smaller on the spine.

On some pics the h4l has a slight similarity, but others I don't think it looks like at all.

It's still a very vets nice bat mind.

All nice bats it might be my pictures but the h4l copy is very close to the scatt when both put together

Sorry i know not out section looks a belting bat as all Matt do but the scat we did is not ment to be a exact copy the spine was taken down and the edge a touch to get it to 2-9..  Just in the intrest in clarity i think all 3 look quality.

The scat i had was very straight without a bow i love the whiteness of the wood on it whats the weight of it mate looks a beaut

The h4l is 2.9.8 but has been in a cold workshop all my h4l bats have lost a little bit of weight when I have got them in to my house

Having seen all 3 in the flesh (and owning the B3!  ;)) I can say they're all lovely bats.

The B3 is the same profile with the edge and spine slightly reduced compared to the Scat, but the B3 is 2lb9 on the nose including grip and stickers. Also worth noting I asked for the B3 with a thick oval handle so there will be a fair bit of weight there.

As for the H4L not being the same I totally agree, it has less concaving and slightly larger edges than the original, but it still weighs less!

If I had to pick one I'd struggle. I may go for the Scat on sentiment, because it's a rare bat and I've dreamed of owning one for years. I could go for the H4L as I feel it picks up the best and I love the feel of it (especially with that lovely bow!) and it won on the ceiling test in Simon's kitchen. In reality I'd go for the B3 as I've already paid for it though...  :-[

I saw these in the flesh today, and I have to say the pics don't do the H4L justice - it's closer than it looks in the pics. All 3 pick up really well, the B3 has the shape towards the toe pretty well sussed, whilst the H4L has the shape up towards the middle really well replicated.

It;s a good effort.

I too was privileged to see these bats today.
The H4L was indeed similar although the spine is a little lower but looked a little wider with slightly bigger edges.
The B3 was not as accurate as the H4L but was still a pleasant shape!  :D
So three very nice profiled bats together was an impressive sight.
The only difference in the 3 amigos was tapping up responsiveness. The B3 was ok but did feel quite hard and not the most responsive by a long chalk!! However the Scat set the standard high and the H4L was at the same high standard.
But on any given day I would have enjoyed using any of the bats. My fave? Simon won't agree but the Scat get my vote  ;)

I think all have done a good job and your quite right that the b3 seemed very hard but I sure it will open up and be a good bat the scat to me is just a lovely classic shape and in the almost new condition it's in is a very rare beast now would be very surprised if their a better condition one left in the country as with a quick clean you would say it's new the h4l custom I just feel it's a lovely shape just the same as the scatt but with a bow that suites me down to the ground and the pick up is spot on saying that they all pick up extremely well the one thing I would say is the scatt is not a massive bat and being 2.9 I would of fault it would of been quite simple for b3 to get it exactly the same shape as the scatt as not being big in the first place and my h4l is bigger but still lighter than both the scatt and b3 be interesting to see what weight cleft b3 would have to use to get it exactly the same  :)

Great looking bats mate especially the H4L.
@petehosk - I agree that B3 are on the harder side as I have got three crowns from them, but they are good.

Was plenty of h4l on show today with my two custom and warbird and Cameron five h4l I really do believe that Matt is making some of the best bats around Dan from chase was at the net today and it was nice to hear what he had to say about the bats and he was very impressed with the h4l even tapping them up and swinging them around and was a big fan of the profile especially the hellfire
