Great from Stokes there, getting us over 170 really can mess them up mentally

Is it enough?
All depends on how England bowl and if SL are up for the challenge?

170 looks plenty! Probably the worst Sri Lanka batting line up for some time

From what the commentary was saying, the wicket isn't easy to play on!
If they are right about the wicket, then 150 would have been a decent score and 170 is a excellent one!
But as we saw again SA, you can only see what the wicket is like once both teams have batted!

It's not a easy wicket and Roy/Morgan and buttler played really well. Dilshan gone slogging medium plod and that's the game over in the first over

Should have been 2 down by now ... Not sure what Siriwadana was trying to do ... Ball on half stump, dance at the crease, ball beats the batsman and just missed the off-stump !

They missed the memo about Ben Stokes being a really good fielder then

Why can't our seam bowlers bowl straight?
I know this is splitting hairs, but their radars are shocking

I think they missed the memo about this being a world cup game ! Poor fielding, ineffective bowling attack and lackluster batting has been their story of this tournament. Eng are giving a nice thrashing here to SL .. Revenge for 2015 WC loss to SL perhaps ? If so its a bloody good one !

Plunkett should be in every limited overs team unless he is injured
He is doing them for pace
