Gray Nicolls Classic Range
« on: February 29, 2016, 10:09:00 PM »

Hi guys,

I've recently invested in Gray Nics for the new season, their classic softs looked too good to miss!

I got a pair of Legend pads from Talent Cricket who were really good (and the pads are absolute quality by the way!) but needed the gloves in small mens. Found a pair of Prestige gloves on ebay from a distinguished seller for reasonably cheap with free p&p. They've come, and the sizing and feel of them is very good, but i'm slightly concerned about the colour.

They're a very noticeable off-white, much darker than the pads and don't seem to match! Was wondering if this was a general theme that other owners have noticed, or have i been conned into buying ebay fakes?!

Thanks

Have you got any pictures? I'm sure that would help to explain a little more! :D

To be brutally honest it is 2 different ranges. Legends may well be designed to be pristine white where as Prestige might be a creamy colour. Maybe Jake from Vitas could help?

Yeah you may be right and that makes sense, but they always seemed to match in photos i've seen. Just seems a bit odd

I've had prestige and I've had legends but not together. So not entirely sure how helpful these pictures are.

I'd say the legends are a tad darker if you compare both gloves to the white on the kaboom ones.

Look genuine to me but I've not used a pair before, not sure if this video from Paul @IJC will help

It's just a slightly cheaper material than the higher grade ones you tend to get the grey pu on the samples we get made up that's all to keep them cost effective.

It nothing to worry about I have had a pair of prestige they are more grayier.

The bas players gloves are the same over the Mrf grand edition

I broke my thumb in a pair! Haha.
Not sure it was gloves fault.

I sold them to @WalkingWicket37 who used them before he boycotted grays(nothing to do with the gloves)
