I've read a few things recently, Derek Pringle especially, that are dead against the use of sunglasses, mainly in the slips and for keepers.

Does anyone notice a difference?

I tend to use Oakleys but mainly with the yellow lenses when the light is dull.

I don't wear sunglasses in the slips, I feel that I see it better without them on. As soon as I'm in the outfield though, where's there more chance of being blinded looking up, I have them on.

I mainly wear them to look like a **** though obviously.

Ive had oakleys for cycling and theyre a dream. Hydrophobic lenses clear off any water/sweat/steam instantly which is a major plus! Wouldnt use any other brand for any sport.

I know they are fairly expensive but I would say that in the long run a pair of Oakely's will be your best bet. I've currently got 2 pairs of Radars, a pair of Radarlocks (currently my most active pair), a pair of Fastjackets and 2 pairs of Holbrooks for casual wear. My oldest pair are coming up for their 7th season and are still going strong as they were my main pair for 3 seasons in a row. Yes they are expensive but the suability is fantastic and the pure quality is superior and worth the money on my opinion. My advice would be if you are going to the USA or a friend is any time soon then get them from an Oakley Store or Oakley vault in America as they are a lot cheaper than the UK as they just switch the currency symbols from dollars to pounds for the UK. Also in the Oakley vault they often have promotions where if you buy one pair you can get a second pair from the sale section for half price. If you have any further questions let me know and I'll help with what I can  :)
