Gutted as I've only had about 5 short nets with it. Two places as well

Any advice on what I can do? Never done a bat repair ever or have any idea what to do...

Hmmm, these look to be superficial to me. For peace of mind you could fill them with superglue then give the area a fine sand.

Just out of interest, why are there no stickers on there?

A team-mate also just said it seems like a surface crack and will be fine, so nothing to really worry about apparently. Guess I'm just very protective of my investment!

Any superglue in particular?

It's wood and gets hit by hard red things... In old days bats were battered but they still scored runs

Cracks like this Cana open if the edges haven't been "rounded off" or compressed and your facing an array of balls in nets from soft to harder etc.

As Cam said nothing that's going to be detrimental to performance or longevity of the bats overall lifespan.

Bit of wood glue and bit of sandpaper if you don't want you bat to get edge cracks two things you can do .1 hit the ball in the middle

and 2 don't hit the ball . Cricket balls are hard willow is softer only one winner at the end of the day

Just any liquid superglue mate. I get 12 tubes in the pound shop (I think I paid �1).
Dab a couple of drops on and spread it evenly over the crack (using the tube, not your fingers!). It will get right into the crack and be dry within seconds, so make sure you spread it quickly so you don't glue the tube to the bat (speaking from experience here!)
The liquid will fill the crack so will seal the area, and hopefully prevent further damage.

And one final warning, don't get glue on your finger while doing it, you'll stick yourself to stuff, and removing it is rather painful...

Is there a thread where we can update the best items and the best places to buy all repair things like this?

Example:

Sandpaper assorted (60-400 grit), Amazon link, �5
Scuff sheet, vitas, �5/m
Grips, vitas, 10 for �22.50
Superglue, poundland, 12 pack
Fibreglass tape 10m, amazon, �5

And so on?

I wouldn't bother touching that. If you edge the ball there over and over again, it may open up further, in which case you can glue and clamp, but this looks very trivial at the moment. No need to be gutted about this mate. Keep smashing them!

Forget superglue theres nothing to worry about leave it or make the crack disappear by giving it a light hand sanding with an high numbered smooth grit
Wouldn't recommend risking the bat in the nets

Light sand and some bat wax and she'll be right as reign. I use 600 grit wet and dry but the higher the number the better.

Maybe worth trying to knock the edges in again some more as well.

I got a few cracks like that while knocking my bat in. I just glued, then sanded. Bat has been through a seasons use and hasn't changed.

Every bat I own is literally cracked like that. It doesn't cause issue. Just leave it
