Take bows I hear they help you hit over the infield, what a load of crap where you hit the ball and which hand is dominant does and how early or late you take it.

I disagree. I have found that bows help when picking up fuller deliveries and clearing fielders, something I can't do with straight bats. Maybe pros can clean hit where ever they want with a straight bat but for a clubbie like myself, bowed bats are a blessing!

The biggest difference in bats is the bloke holding it...

Luke Wright gave Ranjit bat a "2" rating out of 10. Is there something wrong with Luke Wright's abilities? As a clubbie, I will take whatever help I can get from a bat - big edges, giant bow, heavy weight, you name it. I need all the help I can get and I will happily accept it. I don't have time to practice like a Pro to become proficient like a Pro. These are artificial standards and myths that are hoisted upon mortal/clubbies by purists and we don't need them!

The myth of bows like you say, so you can say I'm giving a myth but your clearing the field because it has a bow is up there with soft pressing because if your that good to exactly hit the ball on the upward trajectory and it help then you my good man may as use the middle.  I know your affinity to bows and fair play

But that is what is great if in your mind to you it helps that's all that matters.

I'm just giving you a point of view up to you if you believe it.

As for the GN VIDEO great marketing but it only my opinion

The myth of bows...

You're not just saying this because B3 don't/ can't do bows?

Haha funny that I sent one to internal training and I have a couple of bowed bats from B3.

The bow on the kholi type bat from SS is not a big bow.
It not hard to press a bow it a uneven press though...

I don't mind a gently bow as bats go that way anyway

I think this is hoe the trend started? Players liked the bow of old favourite bats?
