But soft does absorb? Simple really?
Optimum pressing is what you're looking for, according to the real experts.
I been around enough bats and played with enough to know soft pressing is a load of tosh...
Ask any maker on here they will say the same.
Pressing the great beyond it incredibly hard to not press a bat correctly.
There no real cloak and hidden mirrows really.
Optimum is correct but that will always vary from once bit of wood to another and done on feel and sounds by most.
Absorb well what do you think a dent is in your bat!!!! Energy into the bat...
Ask yourself why do you knock your bat in and why do bats "open up" they get a harder face is what IT IS....
So much BS talked about pressing and bats for most it doesn't matter what you use if you cant bat no amount of great bat will change.
Take bows I hear they help you hit over the infield, what a load of crap where you hit the ball and which hand is dominant does and how early or late you take it.
The biggest difference in bats is the bloke holding it...
