I was thinking the other day about how a black and white a la New Zealand colour scheme would look, suffice to say it works. Don't like the PDC stickers covered on it though, horrible...

Those edge stickers would come straight off

I thought NB were stopping with their exclusive ranges after last years yellow/blue only available at a couple of retailers?

Don't know if this was a good move by NB. With the strength of the pro that they have on board, youd think that this is a backward step?

Pro direct always ask for exclusive ranges for there site.

Some will give the exact same shape and stickers but Neely change the heading name(think GM and renaming there 808 "players")

Some will offer a slightly different sticker on a model already made.

Others will fair them an exclusive range.

This may well hair be a tc or dc with pro direct stickers on. It may well be a new range completely.

But despite the huge annoyance of last years dc and trying to get one, I very much doubt it will have a negative effect on NB's position in the cricket market.
Hell I doubt most who would buy a NB, have even heard of pro direct.

I quite like it, but don't like the idea of the PDC exclusivity. I think that it will probably sell as it looks good, but I don't know how this will go down with other retailers, especially if they said they would stop doing exclusive ranges after their previous attempt at doing so didn't have much success...

Pro Direct carry a lot of weight with Puma/NB/Adidas due to their footballing strengths. Wouldn't surprise me if some of the exclusive decisions are made above the Cricket Brand Managers head.

Most of those brand mentioned have sub-offices within the Pro Direct building.

Just had a copy of the PD 'cricket bible' come through - have to say it's a highly impressive booklet.

The PD09 definitely looks like a certain forum sponsor may have a hand in it's production, which isn't surprising really, and at 355 quid it's not too dissimilar in price either... (presuming it's G1). Just a shame it's got PDC written all over the bloody bat!

Has anyone actually used one of these?

Currently priced at £240 and i might invest in one as its not a bad price for a G1 bat!
