I like the 1000 Mile ones, they seem to last longer then some of the cheaper ones I have tried.

I've not tried them but I'm about to get these:

http://www.horizonsocks.co.uk/horizon-test-cricket-sock-oatmeal

I heard they were the best.

The cutting edge of cricket sock technology.

I use http://www.sportsdirect.com/karrimor-walking-sock-2-pack-mens-414190?colcode=41419002&src=google&gclid=Cj0KEQjw8u23BRCg6YnzmJmPqYgBEiQALf_XzUg4zreN6YvGCZb7GyjCLBBrKCYh6p__kTK5cv6-CCcaAto_8P8HAQ&gclsrc=aw.ds

they are comfortable and supportive plus aren't particularly thick so you don't get really hot feet

They may not be the best out there, but I think they are the best value

Walking socks all the way, Bridgedale are expensive but very good. Got a lot of pairs of mountain warehouse own brand I wear for work as I'm in safety boots all day, they're actually very good for the price too.

I've used GM, Horizon, 1,000 mile & Slazenger socks.

Personal preference are the Horizon test, and controversially I found the Horizon County more comfortable than the top of the line 1,000 mile ones.

Value for money wise the £2 a pair Slazenger ones from sports direct were a steal (and are now £6.99 a pair  :()

I haven't tried Trusox but I do know a fair bit about them. They have rubber squares across the heel and sole of the sock that are designed to help grip the insides of your shoes and reduce the chance of shoe slippage. They pioneered in football and are used by many players. Last season I noticed a few England cricketers wearing them including Moeen Ali. There is one problem with Trusox and thats the price, at £25 they are quite expensive. Are they worth the money? Without actually trying them I couldn't say but its whether you would pay the money for them, if you can justify it then sure go for it many people have enjoyed wearing them.

Highly recommend giving Adidas 'NBA' basketball socks a go, not as thick as cricket socks but thick enough and super comfortable!

Thorlo make basketball , walking and hiking socks that are very plush , padded ,look like cricket socks , mold well and last a long time. Another good option are Darn Tough socks . Their hiking socks are awesome , light , comfy , padded , and they have an insanely good warranty .
