Wheelie
« on: March 31, 2016, 05:50:19 PM »

I understand there's a bit of a duffle infatuation going on in this forum, but I'm specifically after a wheelie.
Ideally after something with 3 wheels and a bat cave, is there anything that you could recommend that fits the bill?
Also, when I was last on the forum, there was a bit of an initiative where forumites were trying to come up with the 'perfect wheelie' and were planning on getting it made, did this get anywhere? If it helps, I believe Johnny may have been the person trying to organise it all, I may be wrong though.

Thank you

The Red Ink wheelie has 2 wheels, 3 padded bat tunnels, large main compartment with internal divider, 3 large outer pockets and an internal mesh for personal belongings and small items. Worth a look.

How about this?

3 wheels - no bat cave but a removable padded bat cover - ideal for on the go as well!

On sale price too! Check out the video review and see what you think

picked up this woodworm bag http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-WOODWORM-CRICKET-PRO-SERIES-WHEELED-BAG-HOLDALL-MARK-II-/291301623127?hash=item43d2ee0557:g:GiMAAOSwjVVVkcfL but got it off amazon on a sale for £30-£35.

Its a bigen! For me it holds 2 set of Pads, 2 sets of Gloves, 2 pairs of Shoes, Helmet, Med-kit, grips, cone, towel, change of clothes, few balls and a few bits and bobs.

3 wheels, has a hard bottom and a storage space underneath for up to 4 bats which had padding on the top. had a duffle bag last season, was good but when something falls out of your jeans you have to empty the whole bag to find something!

The red ink big bag looks good. I have the red ink duffle and the build quality is good and well designed.

If you are wanting a stand up wheeling bag, I would recommend the H4L pro wheelie bag. The quality is excellent, lots of compartments and dividers, ideal for keeping all your kit organised. You can take a look on the H4L website http://www.h4l.co.uk/collections/cricket-bags/products/stand-up-large-wheelie-bag or ask one of the forum sponsors for more information.

If you're specifically looking for something with a bat cave then take a look at the GM Duplex Wheelie. The new 2016 model also has a new feature, which is a zipper section that gives even greater capacity compared to older models.

The bat care area by the way, hold 2 bats.

Thank you for all the suggestions, was specifically after a 3 wheeler with a bat cave.
As far as I'm aware, the Salix Pod Tri-Wheeled is the only one of that kind that exists for non-pros.
