Note for South Africa's idiotic selection panel, keep AB happy and he'll be around a lot longer. And probably more important the whole world  will miss this fella when he retires. For my money the best I've ever seen!

Chris Jordan has been pretty decent aside from the horrors of his first three matches.

First three matches:
Overs: 11
Conceded: 132
Economy:12
Wickets:1

Last five matches:
Overs:13
Conceded: 81
Economy: 6.23
Wickets: 7

Not quite Mitchell Starc but a pretty darn decent replacement

Didn't he pick up 3 or 4 wickets in his first game? ???

Cracking final to the 2016 IPL.

Sunrisers of Hyderabad beating Royal Challengers of Bangalore in the RCB's backyard!

Typically for Hyderabad it was captain fantastic Davie Warner setting the tone with the willow, a swashbuckling 69(his 9th 50 of your season). Yuvraj showed some of that old magic with 39, but after both Warner and Yuvraj fell their innings threatened to fall away. Fear not Queenslander Ben Cutting unleashed fury with 39 off 15 balls(Cutting launched a 117m straight out of the stadium)to rocket Hyderabad to 208. What to me seemed a par score considering the RCB line up and the small ground in Bangalore.

The universe boss set out making a mockery of the target by blazing away to 76 of 38 balls before the impressive Cutting got him with a slower ball. Kohli registered another 50, but fell short of the magical 1000 IPL runs in a season. Kohli and AB fell close together. From there on Hyderabad's magnificent bowling attack took over. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and the Fizz where excellent at the death.

Warner's boys win their first IPL by 8 runs.

A lot of player think of Davie Warner as a thug, a bit dim but he showed in this tournament he's a very commanding skipper and should Steven Smith ever ditch the Australian captaincy, I see no one better than Davie to take the job.

MoM: Ben Cutting 39* off 15 balls & 2/35
Emerging player: Mustafizur Rahman
Purple cap: Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Orange cap: Virat Kohli
IPL MVP: Virat Kohli

Test cricket and blast were available during the ipl on different channels.
Have you lost your remote?

Well done to Warner and the rest of the Sunrisers. Cracking tournament from him with bat, slightly overlooked due to kohlis ridicolous tournament with the bat!

Takes me two years to score a 1000 runs, he nearly did it in a single tournament!

DW, Gayle, VK & Mustafiz made is a worth while final to watch. I don't agree on the rubbish part, but its an individual perception so it can vary from one person to another.

DW carried the team pretty much through the knockouts and then the final .. Excellent season and hopefully he can translate this to a back to back win with IPL 2017 !
