Yeah Dhoni did say his injury was a blessing in disguise as he can play another allrounder but wouldnt of known the extent of the injury

Quite serious if he is out for 6 months

from what i read the only cricket he has is the ipl and the Caribbean premier league before taking our summer as his holiday. it just happens that he isnt contracted to play any cricket again until november not that the injury is that severe.

at least that was the way i read it

Except the carribean premiership starts in June and runs to August, bang in middle of our summer. So he's out injured until then Atleast

Can't remember if it's been said but maybe spartan as indians love the brand and he will no doubt be in the big bash again next year
